How To Cure Abnormal Anxiety
You set out to conquer your anxiety disorder a long time
ago. This journey
has been a complete failure. It's not your
fault. It takes time. It takes time to find what is keeping you anxious. Today I'd like to help you end your long journey. Let's start at the beginning. Let's go back to the beginning. Do you recall your first panic attack or other anxiety
attacks? What about the long days of
nervousness and panic? I know that I do.
You likely felt everything in those first days. As time passed, you fell
into a never-ending cycle of worry, fear and frustration, which made your life
more difficult than necessary. It happened
to me too. It's not that I am now a
million times better, it's because of what kept me anxious. Although I don't pretend to be an expert on anxiety healing,
I can tell you that it has changed my life.
You've likely been focusing on the effects of illness
since the moment you fell ill.AnxietyPanic and other panicky feelings
are common. Who could
blame them? It seems impossible to ignore
the many strange symptoms anxiety can throw at you, doesn't? Maybe it's not all about the physical symptoms. It's not, in fact, what I know. It is vital to stop allowing your anxiety to control you. That's the key.
You must address the root cause of your anxiety if you
are to get rid of abnormal anxiety.
You don't need to look into your past or dig through any
other sources to find the answers. The driving force behind anxiety is not a mystery. It is simply this:
Your beliefs.
Your beliefs are what keep you stuck in anxiety. You can change your
beliefs to eliminate the anxiety that keeps you in fear. Everything flows from what you believe, as you can see from
the above illustration. Everything, from
how you view things to how you act out them, is directly related to what you
believe. If you believe anxiety is
dangerous, either psychologically, or physically, you will live in fear. You'll
expect bad things to happen.
As you wait, your self-confidence and sense of security
as well as your sense of well-being all start to erode. Let me show you how it all
works. Anxiety is dangerous if you think
it's dangerous. Then you will view everything that has to do with anxiety as a
threat. This false belief will make you
believe that every anxiety attack you have will result in disaster, madness, or
death. This reinforces the belief that
anxiety is something you should be afraid of. You begin to anticipate anxiety, negative thoughts and
anxiety symptoms. You become more anxious,
depressed, and maybe even obsessed.
The weirdness doesn’t end there. When your emotions
become filtered by anxiety, your behavior changes, sometimes without your even
realizing it. You may stop
liking certain things, or avoid certain places. This can lead to a spiral of self-pity
and despair. This is the sequence of
events that made you who you are today. It's
not surprising, though, that anxiety disorder, especially in its early stages,
is often a fast-acting, visceral, and confusing condition.
Problem is, many people are so shocked by the initial
phase that they remain shocked.
To get rid of anxiety, you need to let go of the
anxiety-inducing shock and instinctive gut reactions. Instead, use logic and
rational thinking to dispel the anxiety. This is the key. It's
not your anxiety symptoms that are causing your problems, at least not for the
most part. Your misery is caused by your
anxious thoughts. Negative beliefs can
contaminate your thoughts. You may have
beliefs that are based on falsehoods and prevented you from feeling calm. How can you change your anxiety beliefs? We are glad you asked.
It's important to realize that your anxiety is not caused
by your beliefs. It will take a change in your beliefs, your expectations,
your emotions, and your behavior to achieve recovery.Don't believe that
changing your beliefs is enough. Because your beliefs and expectations are so intertwined
with each other that it is difficult to separate them, it won't work. Because anxiety is so closely linked to other issues, it's
possible to change your beliefs and start dealing with them. You will need to do some work to make this happen. Let me share the three things that worked well for me so you
can determine how to approach your situation.
1. RelaxThe first thing that I did was to just relax. This was done through semi-hardcore exercises. I went to the gym five days a week, and worked out for an
hour each day. You should know the
benefits of exercising so I won't go into detail. It's good for you.
Do it as often as you can, at least 3-4 times per week. Relaxation can be achieved
through meditation, deep breathing, yoga, and even medication prescribed by a
doctor.
This is crucial because you will continue to be
distracted by your symptoms and feelings of nervousness if you aren't relaxed. Even if you only manage a
small amount, it is important to find a way of relaxing.
2. 2.
Accepting all aspects of your anxiety episodes is the
only way to make progress. You can't
pretend that you are accepting all of your bizarre thoughts, phobias, and scary
physical sensations. This will only make it harder for you to get anxious when
they occur again. You are only cheating
yourself, and not anyone else.
Acceptance is to allow yourself to float and let go. Accept that chest pain
will occur, including bizarre thoughts and palpitations. It's okay, it's actually OK. Anxiety won't kill.
It was important for me to stop presuming. I stopped trying to
predict what would happen, which was a great thing because I am not psychic. I was wrong every time about what was going to happen. It was clear to me that the only thing worth living in is
the present.
3. 3.
The first thing to do to change your beliefs is to
learn about yourself. My path to freedom
was made easier by learning about the autonomic nerve system, the fight/flight
response, assumption and anxiety, cognitive behavioral therapy, adrenaline and
acceptance.
These are just a few of the many things I have listed. You can borrow or buy
books. Do your research online. You'll
feel empowered at the end and be able to think about other options that could
replace your anxious thoughts.
